Country Garden Renovation

This house had just benefitted from an indoor swimming pool, and the grounds were looking for better cohesion and a sense of identity. We worked to create routes around the garden with a generous entertaining area and soft country style planting throughout. 

A more contemporary style was achieved in the rill garden, where architectural hedge lines cast changing shadows throughout the year. The artist Wendy Freestone created sculptures that are illuminated for extra drama. 

The garden won “Best Renovation Award” in 2008 at the New Homes Garden Awards.
